WHAT WE DO

We work with schools, parents and educators to provide students with simple and relevant mindfulness techniques that can support them through adolescence both in and out of the classroom.

HOW IT WORKS

We all have a set of core beliefs through which we see the world. These beliefs are influenced by our life experiences. They lead us towards instinctual action. Not all beliefs however are valid and may need to be challenged. We teach young people how to identify and intercept a thought and challenge it before triggering a negative response.

HOW WE DO IT

The Mind Set Grow program is based on the proven program by Mindful Schools in the USA since 2007. Our facilitator is trained and certified by Mindful Schools and has developed a mindfulness curriculum that is designed to be easily integrated into the rhythm of every school day for Australia.

WHAT WE DO

The mindfulness curriculum is flexible to your school's needs and is delivered in class for 15mins daily over 8 to 16 weeks. The curriculum explores several modules including:

  • Sending Kind Thoughts
  • Body Awareness
  • Generosity
  • Mindfulness of Emotions
  • Mindful Seeing
  • Mindful Movement & Walking
  • Kind & Caring on the Playground

  • Mindfulness of Thoughts
  • Gratitude
  • Mindful Test Taking

The program includes:

  • 8-16 lessons in each class
  • Mindfulness workbooks for each student
  • A Classroom Teacher Manual for all teachers
  • Parent permission slips
  • Evaluation of program
  • One additional 1hr parent training (if required)
